Department of Physical Education started functioning from the inception of the institution itself. It aims to inculcate healthy minds in the healthy bodies of students. It is responsible for the conduction of sports and games of the college. Every year, the department conducts the Calicut University C zone Kabaddi championship. Annual Athletic Meets and other games are also being organized. The Department of Physical Education has signed an MoU with the Athletic Club, Kozhinjampara to reach out to the local talents in the form of an extension activity. The college has taken special interest to promote the physical wellbeing of the students. All possible infrastructure facilities are provided for sports and games.
Efforts are on to upgrade the existing facilities, and also to establish new ones. The college boasts of having a 4 1/2 acres of play ground, which is multipurposely used for 400m athletic track, football, cricket, Kho- Kho, Hockey and Hand ball courts, multipurpose synthetic court for tennis, volley ball and basket ball with markings, separate outdoor badmintion volley ball and indoor kabaddi mats.Tabletennis tables, Teakwondo, Archery, small weight training hall too are available for sports and games.
